HOL-MC, Inc. was founded in 1982 and brought the first Arby's Restaurant to Abilene, Texas located on 125 S. Pioneer. Since then, we've been providing "A Cut-Above" service, hospitality, and Arby's menu items at each of our three world class Arby's Restaurants in Abilene. Our store on S. Clack and S. Pioneer recently went through major renovations in order to bring the Arby's of Abilene a more sophisticated and relaxing atmosphere. The new Pinnacle building profile and interior design of each store is used at The National and Regional Arby's Conventions as a remodel example and motivational design for Arby's franchise owners all over the United States.

David McDermott, owner of all three Abilene stores, began working along side his employees when they first opened. He sliced the beef, bused the tables, and waited on his customers just like any other Arby's employee. Working along side his employees was important to the development of the business. In 1993 Mr. McDermott was chosen by the Abilene Restaurant Association as the 1993 Outstanding Restaurateur in Abilene. Today, Mr. McDermott owns three of the top performing Arby's in the United States. HOL-MC, Inc. was honored to receive the "Highest AOP Rating 2003" Award as a franchise owner of 1-9 restaurants at the National Arby's Convention in September of 2003.

Mr. McDermott was also President of the Texas Louisiana Operations Association from 2001 to 2004 where he was able to share his business experience and success of operations with the Southern Region of Arby's.
